LivWell Yoga is a tenant improvement that converts an existing retail suite in Playa Vista into a flexible yoga and meditation studio.

Rooted in the idea of meraki—doing something with care, intention, and a sense of self—the space is designed to feel calm, grounded, and quietly immersive. Warm wood paneling and slatted partitions create a balance between openness and separation, allowing the studio to shift between group classes and more introspective use.

Natural light is brought in where possible and paired with soft, layered lighting to support a range of practices, from more active flows to slower, restorative sessions. Concrete floors anchor the space, providing a simple, durable base that contrasts with the warmth of the wood. Integrated millwork and storage keep the environment clean and uncluttered.

The scope includes new non-structural partitions, millwork, lighting, and electrical upgrades, along with a partial shift from retail to assembly use.

The goal was to keep the space straightforward and intentional—supporting movement, stillness, and a sense of community without overcomplicating it.
